Enicia Fisher

FOUNDER & LEAD TEACHER TRAINER

Enicia Fisher, M.ED, E-RYT 500

Enicia loves to create transformative learning experiences integrating yoga and connection between people and with the natural environment. She began practicing yoga in 2000 when she was pregnant with her daughter and immersed herself deeper into the philosophy and holistic practices of yoga during a time of deep healing beginning in 2005-2006, when she also began teaching yoga. She studied in the Anusara tradition with teachers at Temecula Yoga Collective and Shraddha Yoga School, based in Temecula, California. Enicia taught Yoga and led Women’s Yoga and Creativity Circles and weekend retreats for ten years in Southern California. In 2015, she began offering yoga retreats in Tulum, Mexico, where she lived part-time, and founded Sanadora Sanctuary, offering week-long private yoga and meditation retreats collaborating with the local community. She maintains connections with a Mayan village school on the outskirts of Tulum, where she helped establish a permaculture community garden in 2016 and offers ongoing arts and academic support when she visits the Mayan Riviera. Enicia moved to Mexico full time in 2018 and is now based in San Miguel de Allende, where she founded the Sanadora Yoga International Teacher Training and Continuing Education Program.

Dr. Amelia Cantor Chang

CONTRIBUTING FACULTY

Dr Amelia Cantor Chang, DPT, E-RYT

Amelia is a physical therapist with advanced training in yoga for older adult population (E-RYT 200, RYT 500). She integrates her knowledge of the body’s physical structure and movement to make yoga-asanas accessible to the student of yoga. 

In addition, she brings a wealth of experience in adapting asanas to those recovering from injuries.

Kathy Bolte

Kathy Bolte, Yogāsana, Mantra, Kīrtan, and NādaYoga

Kathy is a Yogāsana Teacher, Mantra Meditation Teacher, Kīrtan Musician, and facilitator of Wisdom Circles. She is certified to teach NādaYoga: The Yoga of Sound. She is Co-Dean of Camp DeBenneville Pines Annual Yoga Camp in the mountains of Southern California.

Kathy was awarded the prestigious Athena Award in 1987, given by the International Athena Foundation for excellence in profession, a strong commitment to serving the community, and opening doors of leadership opportunity for women.

Her commitment to women has manifested itself in 20+ years of leading women’s wisdom circles in which she guides women to explore the path of Śakti – the sacred feminine. Through stories, mantras, visualizations, journaling and meditation, Kathy facilitates a process of tapping into the deeper meaning and purpose of life to activate the currents of the Divine Feminine.

Kathy is a gifted Kīrtan Musician, leading kīrtan at yoga studios and yoga festivals throughout the US and in India. In 2016 she released her premiere devotional music album, “Wakefulness” with her band, “Bombay Rain”. In 2017 she released “Śāntipāṭh – The Road to Peace”, an album of Vedic Mantras dedicated to the practice of peace. In 2018 she released her latest devotional music album, “Ākāśavāni: Sounds From the Heavens”, in collaboration with her yoga & music partner, Dr. Christie Smirl.

Kathy’s passion is to help people open to their full, whole-hearted potential.

Christri Vidrio

Christi Vidrio, RYT-500

Christi came to yoga as a way to deal with persistent pain as a result of several surgeries and a degenerative bone disease. She pursued her 200 & 300-hour trainings as a way to deepen her own understanding of the healing powers of yoga, and before long discovered her calling to share with others that they are not defined by their physical conditions. Christi believes that yoga can illuminate the vibrancy & vitality in everyone, and makes it her mission to inspire people from all walks of life on the yogic path. She teaches mixed-level alignment based yoga, prenatal yoga, gentle & restorative, Yoga for Cancer Recovery (through Be Well), Pilates, and a variety of fitness modalities. Christi’s classes are down-to-earth, relatable, light-hearted, and informative, while being spiritually deep and rooted in traditional yogic principles.
